UnCharted Seas

The Uncharted Seas
The Uncharted Seas is a fast paced, action packed game of naval tactical combat set in a world of high fantasy. Using superb resin and white metal miniatures, and controlled by fast and easy to learn rules, the game allows you to wage war with fantastical squadrons of mighty warships.

Choose from one of several races, including the Iron Dwarfs with their steam powered ironclads, Orc Raiders with their grotesque machines of war, the ever powerful Dragon Lords, an ancient race of magical seafarers, Imperial Humans hell bent on grabbing as much land as they can and the Thaniras Elves with their sleek ships of war.

The whole premise of The Uncharted Seas rules is deliver a fun and fast game. The aim is to have a game finished within in 1.5 to 2 hours – or longer if you want to play multiplayer games or use much bigger fleets.

The decks of cards (given away with each fleet bought) play an important role in the game, but you can play without them. Our recommendation is that you DO use the cards as they add a wonderful colour to game proceedings and a certain fog of war.

IN SUMMARY
The game is, we believe, hugely good fun to play. You can get up and running quickly, the rules do not have any grossly overcomplicated mechanics to confuse or befuddle you and the models look great! More upgrades are planned, and this includes models such as submarines, war platforms, troop ships, Dreadnoughts, Airships and so on. We’re also working on a supplement to the core rule book that supports all of the new models that are coming out.

Welcome to The Uncharted Seas – we’re happy to have you onboard and also eager to hear from you about what you are playing, how you are playing, how you paint your figures and anything else you fancy dropping us a line about.

Horus Heresy BoardGame is now in Stock

Horus Heresy

On the thirteenth day of Secundus, the bombardment began…

In the greatest betrayal the universe has ever known, the Warmaster Horus – once humanity’s greatest general, now corrupted by Chaos – has turned against the Emperor and hurled the Imperium of Man into ferocious civil war. The galactic conflict has risen to its climax. The Warmaster’s ruinous legions have assaulted Holy Terra itself, the Emperor’s seat. Here the fate of humanity hangs in the balance during the greatest military campaign ever seen.

In the Horus Heresy board game, this legendary battle unfolds across the razed plains of Terra and in the frozen orbit above. Deadly fighting ranges from the Emperor’s golden Inner Palace to Horus’s flagship, the Vengeful Spirit. Taking the side of either traitor or loyalist, two players control either fearless Space Marine legions or deviant Chaos Space Marines, mighty Titans, Imperial Armies both loyal and traitorous, and a fearsome array of other units, including the Emperor and Horus themselves.

An innovative order and initiative system forces each side to carefully consider the commands they issue to their troops. A dramatic, card driven combat system incorporates escalating damage, gives players the opportunity to allocate resources between attack and defense, and brings to bear the unique special powers of each unit type, from fortification-destroying Titans to the perverse daemons of Chaos. Brother fights brother, and the universe hangs in the balance!

Horus Heresy includes over 120 detailed miniature models including 10 plastic terrain pieces, and more than 200 cards to bring this sweeping conflict to life on a stunning map of the war-torn Terra.

INVASION LCG from Fantasy Flight Games

Fantasy Flight Games has released another Living Card Game and joined forces with Games Workshop. The core game includes 4 races (Empire, Orc, Chaos, and Dwarf) and each one comes with it's own special deck of cards. There are also neutral cards and cards that can combine allies. Each player has a capital board in which you must protect 3 sides (battlefield, quest, and resource) from your opponent while at the same time building each up.

Game play is quick and easy to understand. The best part about this game is the same as all of the Living Card Games in that there are no constant booster packs to buy. All cards are the same and can be combined and changed to build individual decks and styles of play. Every month or so a Supplement pack is released on the game which includes a set number of cards that can be added to the game to change the play of the game and will be compatible with every other sets. It makes these games for those who don't want to spend a small fortune to get the best or rare cards. All cards are available equally.

Drop me a message or stop by the store to find out more and maybe get into a demo game.
